I woke up the other morning with the refrain of "Let It Snow" in my head,
but with different words. So I decided to rework the song to suit the needs
of all of us who'll be visiting with family during the holidays. Have fun!
Let It Go!
(To the tune of "Let It Snow")
Oh, the words inside are frightful,
But peace can be so delightful,
And there's nowhere else to go, so
Let it go, let it go, let it go.
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And sometimes you'll feel like popping,
Just turn the volume down low,
Let it go, let it go, let it go.
When you stop saying I'm right,
How the punch goes out of the storm,
If you keep positive intention in sight,
At least you will do no harm.
The anger is slowly dying,
And, thank God, you're now good-bye-ing,
But you love your family and so,
Let it go, let it go, let it go.
Wishing you the best of the season -- time to smell the evergreens, to
delight in the decorations, to sing a joyous carol or two, and to play with
your loved ones -- and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
In love and light,
Hollis
